Scary Earthquake In Ridgecrest Show Visible Ground Movement
Occurred on July 5th, 2019 at 8:20 PM. This was captured on the security camera system in Ridgecrest Ca. 93555. "The motion detection was triggered during the 7.1 earthquakes. This is one of four cameras, this one is on the North-East corner of the house looking West. You can't see it but my wife, Emily, and I was riding out the earthquake in our living room hallway. We were being bounced off the walls repeatedly while we were watching our furniture jump around the room. The earthquake is the largest in California history in 20 years, and even though it felt like several minutes passed, you can see it only lasted about 20 seconds. In those 20 seconds, major damage was done to many buildings and infrastructure in the area. We, the communities of Ridgecrest, Inyokern, and Trona, were very lucky to not suffer any fatalities."
